Wilkerson, Inez Shirley, 89 of Tulsa passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Inez was born November 20, 1925 in Sallisaw, OK to Edgar E. and Lula (Owens) Rowland. She grew up on a farm near Warner, OK. Inez graduated from Webbers Falls High School in 1944 and soon after married her high school sweetheart, Lewis Wilkerson in 1945. They later settled in Tulsa, OK in 1954 where they raised their family. Inez worked at and retired from Sears, Roebuck and Co. in 1987. She enjoyed traveling, reading, playing cards, St. Louis Cardinal baseball, documenting family history in albums, was a tireless enthusiast for working cross-word, games and jigsaw puzzles. Inez loved her family and friends. She will be dearly missed. Inez was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings Artie and Odie Rowland and son Lary Wilkerson. She is survived by her sons Connie Wilkerson, Robert Wilkerson, Gary Wilkerson and his wife Jean and Donald Wilkerson: grandchildren Anthonette (Toni) Baird, Jamie, Kari, Somer Wilkerson, Brent Wilkerson and Daren Wilkerson, 5 great grandchildren, sister in law Beatrice (Love) Rowland, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
