Obituary
Irene Isabel Swaffar, 62, of Fremont, NE, passed away Sunday, July 31, 1977, in Richardson, TX. She was born on Tuesday, September 1, 1914, in Enid, OK, to Michael Aaron Watkins and Jessie Elaine (Morrow) Watkins, and she was married to Clarence Dalton "C. D." Swaffar. Irene is survived by her husband, Clarence; sons, Jerry Lee Swaffar of Massachusetts, Mike G. Swaffar of Kentucky and Robert C. Swaffar of Texas; 4 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Katherine Whitaker and Mary Boully, both of Oklahoma; brother, Charles L. Watkins of Kansas; and a lifetime of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Irene will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but her spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have her in our lives.
