James Weldon Long, 68, of Tulsa, passed away Wednesday, April 19th, 2017. He was born October 6th, 1948 in Pawnee, OK to Orrian Boyd and Mary Grace Long. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was an electrician and a member of I.B.E.W. Local Union 584. He enjoyed playing free cell, working his land, fishing, gardening and being outside. J. Weldon is survived his children, Bryan Long of Tulsa; Christi Fredrick and her husband Steven Riley of Tulsa; Leslie Buckley and her husband Christopher of Raynham, MA; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; his brother Tom Long and his wife Najla of Tulsa; his sisters, Marsha Blackburn and her husband David of Sand Springs; Helen Muse and her husband Howard of Hallett; Denice Heick and her husband Gary of Ponca City; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Ruby Susan Long.
