James "Travis" Owen, 88, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 30, 2020 in Claremore, OK. He was born May 18, 1932 in Lohn, TX to the late James C. Owen and Mayme Faye (Simpson) Owen. Travis was a purchasing manager in the aircraft industry and a veteran of the United States Army.

Travis loved his family. His family came second only to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Travis was a devoted Christian and served in many capacities at Catoosa United Methodist Church such as various boards, church choir and helping in any way that he could.

He is predeceased by his loving wife of 50+ years, Beverly Hackl Owen; his parents; brother, Granville Owen and sister, Gail McGinty. He is survived by his daughter, Jayme Davis and her husband, Dennis Harridge; granddaughter, Laci Davis and her husband, Shawn Golden; grandson, Jason Davis and his wife, Ana; grandchildren, Brandon Frasier, Tesa Clawson, Terrence Golden, TreSean Riser, Daniel Clawson, Jayden Davis, Keira Davis and Nissa Davis.

Viewing will be Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral service will be 2 P.M., Friday, September 4, 2020 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel.
