Jack Charles Estes passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 in Tulsa, OK. He was born in Rogers, AR on April 7, 1935, to Jack and Merle Estes. He proudly served in the US Air Force. Jack was a member of First United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge #513, Rock Lodge #1973, and the Moose Lodge. He held a degree in mathematics from TU and was a Petroleum Engineer and worked in the oil and gas industry. He was inducted into the AADE Hall of Fame in 2010 and was a voting member of API. He was research supervisor for Amoco. After retiring from Amoco he was the owner/operator of EDTI and several other businesses. Jack enjoyed spending time with his family, camping and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandy Estes of Broken Arrow, OK; sons, Michael Estes and his wife, Ruby of Tulsa, OK, and David Estes of Pharoah, OK; his daughter, Cristi Williams of Tulsa, OK; grandson, Bryan Estes and his wife, Becka, granddaughter, Lisa Estes; great granddaughter, Vada Estes; and numerous other relatives and friends. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Virginia Lee Goosen.
