Obituary
Jack W., 83, of Tulsa, passed away on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Tulsa, OK, January 2,1934 to Mary Margaret and A.W. (Jack) Clear.
He served proudly in the U.S. Army in Korea and then graduated from Oklahoma State University where he was an active member and alumnus of Sigma Chi fraternity.
Jack was a retired Insurance Agent having enjoyed a long career operating his Shelter Insurance Agency in East Tulsa. He loved OSU Cowboy's football and basketball, looked forward to his daily neighborhood walks and was an avid reader.
Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Sue, son Don W. Clear of Tulsa and brother, Donald F. Clear, Broken Arrow, 2 grandchildren, Lisa and Matthew and 3 great-grandchildren, Lizzie, Riley and Cole.
Service will be held 10 am Tuesday, June 6, Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home.
