Jack E. Covey 1920 - 2015. WWII Veteran


Jack Covey died February 7, 2015 at Saint Francis Heart Hospital at the age of 94. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Jean Lang Covey, both life-long Tulsans. He is also survived by his son Robert E (Doris) Covey of Sugar Grove, Illinois and his daughter Carol (Robert) Foster of Austin, Texas, four grandsons - James D (Loretta) Fellers of Texas, Thomas L (Randi) Stuart of Utah, Robert A (Katie) Stuart of Oregon, Brian E Covey of Illinois - one granddaughter, Jennifer C Covey of Tulsa, and six great-grandchildren. Survivors also include many nephews and nieces including Bonnie (Chuck) Harter of Tulsa.

Jack Edmund Covey, born September 11, 1920 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was the son of Cornelius Royal Covey and Barbara Hedges Covey. He was pre-deceased by his parents and his seven older siblings.

The world has lost a truly honest man.
