Obituary
Jack A. Gaines, 79, passed away on October 5, 2016 in McKinney, Texas. Jack was born August 27, 1937 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to James Arthur and Frances Lucille (Gibson) Gaines.
Jack married the love of his life, Betty Carol Phillips in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 20, 1956. They spent 60 years together, and raised 2 daughters.
He was employed by American Airlines as an aircraft mechanic, where he worked for 33 years. He also served in the Marine Corps, and volunteered for the American Red Cross.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, James. He is survived by his wife, Betty; a sister, Betty Mohyi; two brothers, George Gaines and Tommy Gaines. Also survived by daughters, Debra Elsheimer, husband Ronnie, and Terri Manning, husband David. Grandchildren: Dustin Crow, wife Nicole; Stacey Crow, Casey Crow, Curtis Crow, Garrett Chapman, Austin Chapman, Heather Elsheimer, Brent Elsheimer, wife Sarah: and ten great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, October 7, 2016, 5:00 - 7:00pm at Moore's Southlawn Chapel.
