Obituary
Jack Wayne McKay went to his heavenly home peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2023 after a short illness. Jack was born November 24, 1940 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Lavern Bethel and Jack Willie McKay. He was the oldest child of 3. His brothers Bobbie (preceded him in death)and Ronnie of Claremore, OK.
Jack enjoyed riding Harley's in his youth and spent a few years as a scout leader in Troop 886 in Pico Rivera, CA. He was also a Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam War from 1961 to 1965. After his discharge he stayed in California where he eventually met and married his wife, Cathey, and raised their 3 boys.
He is preceded in death by Mother, Lavern McKay; his Father, Jack Willie McKay and brother Bobbie McKay.
He leaves behind his wife, Cathrine; stepson, Christopher(Sandra); sons, Daniel and Matthew (Denise)and grandson Owen. Also, his brother, Ronnie (Pam), sister Neena Perkins and several nephews and nieces.
No service will be done per Jack's wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to The Alzheimer's Association.
