Jack Postelwait was born in Tulsa on May 7, 1925. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the 20th Army Air Force. Jack retired from Oklahoma Oxygen Company where he worked as a salesman. He was a former member of St. Marks United Methodist and First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow and at the time of his passing was a member of Garnett Road Baptist Church. Jack passed from this life in Tulsa on March 17, 2014. He is survived by son, Larry Postelwait and his wife Sandy of Catoosa; son, Dr. Gary Postelwait his wife Karen D. of Broken Arrow; grandchildren, Scott Postelwait and his wife Sarah, Jennifer Nottingham and her husband David, Jeff D. Postelwait and his wife Megan, and Blake S. Postelwait and his wife Beth; great-grandchildren, Ty, Gavin, Easton and Xander; and sister, Janet Nightengale of Lakeland, FL. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; both parents and one brother. A funeral service will be held in his honor at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 21st at the First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow. Interment will follow in Floral Haven Cemetery.
