Jack Robinson was a beloved husband, father, grandfather,
great-grandfather, and friend. He lived a long and successful life as
an insurance agent establishing his business, Consolidated
Insurance Agency, in August of 1975. Jack started the agency from
the ground up to reflect his vision of the future. In choosing the
name Consolidated, Jack hit on the concept and philosophy of
bringing together several agents with similar business and work
ethics. This "consolidation of agencies" served Jack and his partners
well. Jack enjoyed spending time with his friends and family,
especially his grandchildren and his "miracle" great-granddaughter,
Avery. He loved to travel, Jack and his wife Wanda visited many
destinations worldwide with family and special friends. In his spare
time you could find him on the golf course at The Oaks Country Club,
where he was known to make a hole in one, or at home watching
western films in his favorite chair. Jack was a ball of energy with a
competitive spirit, opinionated mind, loving heart, and giving nature.
Jack is survived by his wife Wanda, son Mike and his wife Jill, one
sister Linda Emerson of Richardson Texas, brother William of Italy
Texas, three grandchildren Corey Roberson, Micaela Robinson, and
Colton Robinson, as well as a great-granddaughter Avery Nicole. In
lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Simeon's Episcopal
Home at 3701 N. Martin Luther King Blvd., or St. Francis Hospice at
6600 S. Yale Suite 350. The family would like to express deep
appreciation to both of these wonderful organizations, as well as
Jack's huge support system of friends. Jack is loved and missed by
all of us dearly. Memorial service will be 2:00 P.M., Friday,
September 27, 2013 at Moore?s Southlawn Chapel. Moore?s Southlawn
