Jack Swanson, 82, of Claremore, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020. He was born May 1, 1938, in Tulsa, OK to Gordon and Mildred Swanson. He had worked as a sales representative for Midwest Spring Company. He was a member, deacon and taught Sunday school at Catoosa First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and volunteering to help different law enforcement agencies. He also volunteered with the Catoosa Police Department. Jack is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lawanna Swanson; daughters, Terri Harrison and husband Mike of Beggs, OK, Christi Rogne and husband John of Catoosa, OK; five grandchildren, Ericka Cook, Sarah McMullin and husband Daniel, Jason Cook, Micah Rogne and wife Mallory, Nicholas Rogne; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; his brothers, Bill Swanson and wife Cheri of Dallas, TX, Larry Swanson and wife Connie of Claremore, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joyce Merrick and brother, Dean Swanson.
