Jack Austin Woodward was born in Boynton, Oklahoma on May 12, 1938 to James and Mildred Woodward, and passed from this life on February 21, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jimmy Woodward, and his first wife of 42 years, Kathy Woodward.
Jack is survived by his wife Linda Earnest Woodward of almost 10 years, son David Woodward and wife Wendy Woodward, daughter Amy Woodward and husband Kendall Davis, stepson Steve Earnest and wife Julie Earnest, stepson David Earnest and his wife Robyne, and grandchildren Chloe Davis, Sophia Davis, Emily Woodward, Andy Woodward, Jackson Earnest, Allison Earnest, Ariel Clark, and Kelley Reave, and great grandchildren Caroline Reaves and Evelyn Clark.
Jack graduated from high school in Boynton Oklahoma in 1956. After graduation from High School, Jack moved to Tulsa and began working for Public Service Electric Company. After a short-term working at Public Service, he joined the Air Force and proudly served for six years. After leaving the Air Force, he moved to Tulsa and secured a job with Amoco. He had a long and successful career of 32 years and made many life-long friends during his time there.
One of Jack's passions was airplanes. He was an active member of EAA, and was the proud owner of a biplane. Jack was a dedicated Boy Scout Leader, baseball coach, and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Most of all he loved the Lord and lived a life loving and serving Him and was an faithful member of the Stone Canyon Church of Christ.
