Evans, James A., 74, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 in Tulsa, OK. born April 5, 1940 in Sulphur City, AR to Jack and Helen (Ashford) Evans. He was a manufacturing machinist. Member of Garnett Road Baptist Church. He also served in the U. S. Navy.
Preceded in death by his parents; four siblings. Survived by his wife Mary Lou Evans of the home; sons Scott Evans of Claremore, OK, Robert Evans and wife, Jill of Claremore, OK; step-children, Vikki Milne and husband, Wendell, Cheri Harkreader and husband, Phillip, Randy White and wife, Terri, Kelea Stout; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers; three sisters; extended family members.
