Obituary

James "Jim" Lee Adcock was born March 1, 1943, to Otis V. Adcock and Fontella Adcock in Tulsa, OK. He was a 1961 graduate from Will Rogers High School, with studies at the University of Oklahoma.

Jim, a veteran, served in the Vietnam War, as a medic. His grandsons followed in his military footsteps, each also serving in the Army. Jim had a lengthy career as a credit supervisor for Shell Oil credit card center, where he developed lifetime friendships with many colleagues.

Jim enjoyed the lake, golfing, fishing, auto and construction projects. When his children entered his life his love and enjoyment involved their activities.

Jim is preceded in death by his father, mother and nephew, Larry O'Hair. Jim passed on July 1, 2022, and is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda Adcock, daughter Tracey Mahoney and her husband Bobby of Broken Arrow, son Timothy Adcock of Broken Arrow. Along with four grandchild, Tiffany, Lacey, Shannon, and Steven. Six great grandchildren, Riley, Alexis, Madison, Airyanna, BrookLynn, and Nova. Sister Carolyn O'Hair and many other loving family members and friends.

Viewing is scheduled for 10am-8pm and visitation 4pm-6pm on Thursday, July 7, 2022, and the funeral service will be 10am, Friday, July 8, 2022, at Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home. Burial following at Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors.
