Obituary
Leroy was born on January 13, 1947 to Clarence and Emla in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Leroy enjoyed riding his bicycle and playing baseball. He attended grade school at Lowall and Jane Adams and McClain High School. Leroy moved many times while growing up. They lived in Colorado and Arkansas.
In January 1965 Leroy joined the Army. He was in the Army for three years. While he was there, he received his GED and in January of 1968 was honorably discharged.
On February 17, 1968 Leroy was united in marriage to Nelma Casady. To this union two children were born, Jennie Lynn and James Leroy II (Jamie).
Leroy worked for the B.N. Railroad for 31 years.
In 1979 they had a home built north of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Nelma, Jennie, Jamie and Leroy went on enjoyable trips to Florida, Colorado, and to see family in North Missouri.
In 1933 Leroy and Nelma went to the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, and Colorado with Nelma's parents.
In 1995 Leroy and Nelma purchased their first camper. That summer they went to California, Oregon and Washington State to see Leroy's half-sister, Mary and half-brother, Aurther.
Leroy and Nelma joined a Good Sams Camping Club which they enjoyed for many years.
Leroy and Nelma had two awsome grandkids, Weston and Kassi, which they had many great times with.
Leroy was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church and had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He volunteered driving one of the Asbury People Movers.
Leroy is survived by his wife Nelma of Glenpool,OK, Daughter Jennie Orr of Sapulpa,OK, and Son Jamie Foust and wife Janette of Pacific Junction, IA. Grandchildren Weston Bock and Kassi Bock and Sister Lois Givens of Tulsa,OK and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Emla Foust; one sister, Bessie Sanders; four brothers, Paul Foust, Connie Beams, J.T. Beams, and John Beams.
Servies will be 11AM, Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Asbury United Methodist, 6767 South Mingo Road, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
