James A. House (Jim), 87, of Tulsa, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Georgia and James Alfie House.

After graduating Central High school in Tulsa, he received an Associate Degree in Drafting and Design from Oklahoma State University. After college, he served active duty for the Air National Guard. He worked as Chief Draftsman for WC Norris, founded the Hair Trend salons in Tulsa and Denver, and invested in real estate and financial assets.

Jim married Shirley Lusk in 1962 and treasured being married to her for over 60 years. He loved outdoor activities, was the pitcher in church and city softball leagues, traveled often with family to the mountains of Colorado and on cruise ships to Alaska. He loved hiking the trails in these locations.

Jim is survived by his wife Shirley, son Richard and granddaughters Sienna and Kaiya of Austin, Texas; daughter Linda of Austin, Texas. He is a gift from God to our entire family. We could not have asked for a more loving, caring, humble, and giving husband, dad, and papa.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, with Graveside service to Follow, 5111 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233.
