James Harper Jr., 72 of Broken Arrow, passed away on Tuesday, November 9th, 2021. He was born on December 26, 1948 in Muskogee, OK to James and Anna Belle Harper. He worked at Frank W. Murphy Manufacturing for over 20 years and with his brother opened Starbase 21 for a 30 year run before retiring. He was a kind good-natured individual and enjoyed helping others. He treasured his friends and the time they enjoyed together. He loved animals and there were several "pup dogs" that were an integral part of his family over the years. Although there were not many opportunities to get out on the course he loved golf and enjoyed watching the tournaments year round.

James loved his family and has a strong faith in God and is rejoicing in his presence.

James is survived by his wife, Debbie of Broken Arrow, and cousin, Wanda Fields of Tulsa along with several very dear friends. James was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, John. His friends and family will miss him dearly and treasure a lifetime of memories.

Viewing will be 10AM-8PM, Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Graveside service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, November 12, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, OK.
