James Robert Macoubrie, 73, of Chelsea, OK, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 1977, at a Tulsa, OK hospital. He was born on Tuesday, July 21, 1903, in Carrollton, Carroll County, MO. James was married to Thelma Marguarite (Griffin) Macoubrie. He was a retired superintendent at Allied Steel Co. He is survived by his wife, T. Marguarite; daughter, Mrs. C. L. "Bonnie Jean" Totty of Tulsa, OK; grandson, Clifton Robert Totty of Tulsa, OK; 2 great-grandchildren, Kim and James Michael Totty of Tulsa, OK; and a lifetime of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. James will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
