James Bert Qualls, 85, passed away January 8, 2021 in Tulsa. Bert was born on July 26, 1935 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Wilbur and Marguerite Qualls. He is survived by his wife Linda Sue Steil Qualls of Tulsa;his brother William Clark Qualls and his wife Iris; his brother Matt Floyd Qualls; and his children James Kent Qualls and his wife Terry, Kevin Mark Qualls and his wife Brenda, James Keith Qualls and his wife Michelle, Joyce Kathleen Colbert, Sheila Kay Philion, Keli Ruth Loveless, and James Burton Monroe. In addition, he is survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Bert was pre-deceased by his brother Glen Franklin Qualls and his sister Ann Marie Qualls. In other words, a very large and extended family had the privilege of loving Bert and enjoying his guidance and big booming laugh.

Although Bert had various businesses and professions over the years, his real love was being outdoors and being involved in farming and ranching, even during his supposed retirement. Bert and Linda further enjoyed the outdoors for many years by camping, leading to many close friendships with people they met along the way.

A public viewing will be on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 10AM-8PM at Moore's Southlawn, including family visitation from 6PM-8PM. A graveside service will be held at 1PM on January 14, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
