James Ray Blevins, 60, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Friday, August 19, 1977, at his residence of lung cancer. He was born on Thursday, November 9, 1916, in Crowder, OK, to Wesley Blevins and Maynote (Mills) Blevins. James was proud to have served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army in WWII. He was married to Elizabeth Ann (Burkhart) Blevins, and worked in the Production Department at Ecodyne Cooling Products. James is survived by his wife; daughter, Sherri Ann of the home; mother, Mrs. May Jordan of Yorba Linda, CA; 2 sisters, Dessie Harrington and Daisie Pruet, both of Yorba Linda, CA; and a lifetime of friends.
