Stanley, James R., 80, died Friday February 19, 2016. James was born November 2, 1935 in Floydada, TX to Harry Reginald Stanley & Mary D. Maxwell.
James attended Floydada High School and was the Salutatorian of his Class. At the age of 17 he moved to Tulsa to begin a 47-year career with Scott-Rice Office Supply Company working in various roles, culminating as Accountant.
James married Vivian Campbell June 30, 1958, in Sherman TX and established a loving home in Tulsa, where they resided ever since.
James is survived by: Wife, Vivian J. Stanley; Sons: David Stanley and wife Cheri of Tulsa, OK; Doug Stanley and wife Gene of Frederick, MD; Grandchildren: Austin Stanley of Tulsa, OK, Alex Stanley of Tulsa, OK, Michael Stanley of Frederick, MD.
Preceded in death by Granddaughter Stephanie Stanley, and 3 sisters to James and their spouses.
In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to St. Francis Hospice. Family will greet friends from 6 pm to 8 pm at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Service will be 2 pm Thursday, February 25, 2016, at Moore's Southlawn Chapel. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, OK.
