James Francis Warner, 84, died on June 14, 2014. James was born July 29, 1929 in Nashville, TN. He was one of 4 children born to Rudolph and Catherine Grady Warner. His Bride of over 50 years was Audrey Pelton Warner (deceased), was also of Nashville, TN.

James had 3 sons, James Jr. (deceased), Dennis and Mark, both of Tulsa.

James served in the United States Army with his first term of service at the occupation of Japan for 1 year (1946-1947). He served his second term in the infantry in Korea (1950-1951) where he received a purple heart.

James was employed by American Airlines as an Aviation Technician. He retired after 39 years. He was active in retirement years with Military Order of the Purple Heart, Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and American Legion Chosin Few.

Visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, 1908 S. Memorial. Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 20, 2014 at Memorial Park Chapel. In lieu of flowers hug a veteran and always insure the VA provides adequate medical care for those who have served.
