Obituary

"Always my Mother... Forever my Friend.."

Jane was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on March 23, 1936. She passed this life at her son's home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Tuesday the 7th of November, 2023.
Jane's parents were Howard C. Cook and Eula Mae Cook (McWatters). Both deceased. She was married to Jack C. Fehrenbacher on September 3, 1955. Jack passed this life in January of 2021. She had three children with Jack. Susan Diane Fehrenbacher, deceased, Cynthia Ann Fehrenbacher, deceased, her son Paul Fehrenbacher, of Broken Arrow. She has two grandchildren, Ashley Seffel and Paul Fehrenbacher Jr. She has great grandchildren, Makenzie Seffel of Broken Arrow, Parker Seffel of Bixby, Payton Seffel of Bixby, Kell Wenninger of Broken Arrow and Blakely Fehrenbacher of Broken Arrow. She also has a great great grandchild Legend Smith.
She was a life time member of the Community of Christ. She was an ordained minister as well in the Community of Christ Church.
She graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1954, Tulsa, Oklahoma. She attended Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa where she met the love of her life Jack Fehrenbacher.
She was a member of The Tulsa Board of Realtors for over 58 years. She was an active broker whom helped many of family find their first, second and often 3 time homes. She believed that she sold homes not houses. She was a member of the National Association of Realtors.
She retired from Real Estate in 2019 giving the reigns of the business to her son Paul Fehrenbacher.
She was a passionate person who always gave back to the community and believed that every person was of value and insured that they felt it within.
Her hobbies were her children, their children and their children. She was found often raising, transporting or getting one of the kids out of trouble here or there. She was the ultimate Grandmother.
She and her husband Jack traveled often. They were fond of Branson, lived in Philadelphia for 3 years in the early 80's and were always on the go for the church they loved.
Her greatest asset according to her son, was that no person was left without hope. She found hope within everyone she met. She adored life, she celebrated life daily.
Jane's Celebration of Life will be Monday, November 13, 2023 at Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home in Tulsa. She will rest next to her husband and daughter Cindy in the Memorial Park Cemetery, in Tulsa.
