Janet Ellen
Schueller
March 13, 1945 – April 12, 2026
Janet was born and raised in Saint Paul, MN, and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1971.
She married Greg on September 12, 1964, in Moorhead, MN and they had two children, Chrissy and Steve. She was a proud member of the Central High School Class of 1963. She graduated from Miller Hospital School of Nursing in 1965. She was the accountant and office manager at Gateway Insurance for 18 years. Jan and Greg were one of the founding members of Seekers Sunday School with Asbury UMC. She was also part of the GriefShare group and a Stephen Minister with Asbury. Beginning at the end of 2022, her nursing skills were put to the test. She gave her all in caring for Greg through the loss of his right leg.
In her free time, she loved to be at the beach. Her two favorite locations were Sanibel Island, FL and Orange Beach, AL. Her most treasured passion was her time with her grandchildren, Sarah, Angela, and Matthew, and her great-granddaughter, Artemis. She gave them a love of playing games, like Canasta and checkers: going for walks, climbing trees. She enjoyed taking the girls to the Tea Room. Greg and Jan also took all of the kids to see the Lion King at the PAC. She was a lover of the holidays and celebrating everyone's birthdays.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Greg; her daughter, Chrissy (Doug) Hennigan; her son, Steve (Laura) Schueller; her granddaughter, Sarah Schueller (David Barrera); her granddaughter, Angela Stottlemyre; her grandson, Matthew (Abby) Schueller, her great-granddaughter, Artemis Stottlemyre; and her nephew, Kenny (Jody) Cline.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William C & Ethel C Haney; her sister, Carol Jones; and her niece, Debbie Cline.
Mom/Grammy will be forever missed and we will cherish our memories we have with her.
