JANETTE I. (Miller) (Perkins) BEEMAN 96, passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Janette was born to Walter Miller and Ida M. (Reece) Miller on March 14, 1917 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was later adopted by Kenneth and Edna Perkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and adopted parents; her husband, James H. Beeman of 58 years; her son, James "Butch", 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Janette is survived by her daughter, Judi and her
husband, John Hancock; grandson, Justin Beeman and his wife, Rachel. 2 great-grandchildren, Katelynn and Garrett; 7 nieces and 1 nephew and their families.
She was the pillar of the family; keeping the home fires burning when her 3 brothers and husband served during WWII, always there when you needed her, willing to help whenever possible. She enjoyed watching NASCAR with her son, and OU Sooner Football with her daughter. She especially enjoyed her granddog, Duffie. Janette was a long time member of Belview Baptist Church.
Her family wishes to express its appreciation to the staff of Colonial Manor Nursing Home who provided her with care extraordinaire, and also Grace Hospice
