Janice was a member of the Newcomers Club of Stillwater, an officer of the PEO, and enjoyed playing bridge and bunko with her friends. She was a spunky little package with a smile on her face and a fire in her belly. She was an avid Oklahoma State fan and loved watching the Oklahoma City Thunder. She had 6 grand kids all of which she enjoyed attending their sports events and activities. She was married to Tom Eckroat in 1967 in Raytown, MO and moved to Hennessy, Oklahoma in 1973. In 2001 they moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma where they currently resided. Janice was survived by her husband, Tom Eckroat; brothers, Jim and Joe Vance; her children, Steve Eckroat and Brandie Galvin; her grandchildren, Taylor Eckroat, Glenn Galvin, Grant Galvin, Austin Eckroat, Gabbie Galvin, Grace Galvin.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tiny Paws in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Special Olympics.
