JANICE KAY GREGORY, 81, of Tulsa, OK, went to sleep Monday evening, Oct. 16th, 2023, and is waiting for the awakening resurrection call of her Saviour, when He comes to this earth soon. She endured to the end and her eternal destiny is secure in the hands of our heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

Janice was born in Salina, KS on Nov. 6th, 1941 to her parents Alpha Madeline Scott Ernsbarger and Lester Curtis Ernsbarger. She is survived by her twin brother Jan Ernsbarger and older sister Connie Schnarrenberger. She also had another older sister, Patricia Ahlquist, who preceded her in death.

In 1958 she married Arthur "Joe" Gawith and graduated from Minneapolis High School in 1959. She had three sons and a daughter prior to Joe's death in 1965. Sons, Richard, Karl, Michael and daughter, Debra Gawith Keaton.

She met and married Lawrence Gregory in 1967 following their meeting while attending WorldWide Church of God in Wichita, KS in 1966. They had 3 children together during their 57 years of marriage. Daughter Karen, and sons Jon and Arlen.

Both Janice and Lawrence devoted their lives to the word of God and cherished the many years that they were able to share the word with fellow believers.

She worked a variety of different jobs at various stages during her life, but her main focus was taking care of her family and raising and rearing her seven children.

Janice's surviving children are Richard Gawith and wife Sherry of Broken Arrow, Michael Gawith of Springfield, MO, Debra Keaton of Tulsa, Jon Gregory and wife Melissa of Broken Arrow, and Arlen Gregory of Tulsa.

Besides her husband Lawrence who preceded her in death just 18 days prior, she also had 2 children who preceded her in death, Karl Gawith of Noel, MO in 2023 and daughter Karen Gregory of Tulsa in 2001.

She has numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews as well as other extended family and a lifetime of friends, colleagues, and brethren who await their heavenly reunion with her.

A viewing will be held from 10am - 8pm on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023 at Moore Southlawn, 9350 E 51st St, Tulsa, OK. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, Oct. 20, 2023 at Magnolia Memorial Gardens in Bristow, OK. Memorial Services will be held for both Janice and Lawrence Gregory at 1pm on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023 at Tulsa Church of God, 14509 E Marshall St, Tulsa, OK 74116
