Janice Kay Holcomb Pittman was born September 9th,1948 in Enid, OK. She is preceded in death by her parents A.L. Fred Holcomb, Goldie Rodgers, and brother Randall Roy Holcomb. Survived by children, Aaron (Kristin) Pittman, Julie Monnot; grandchildren, Felicity and Michael Monnot, Ellison and Gage Pittman. Ex-husband and dear friend, Roy Pittman.

Janice was born and raised in Enid, Oklahoma. She graduated high school in 1966 as 5th in her class of 500. She earned a bachelor's degree in education from Phillips University and a Masters degree in counseling from the University of Tulsa.

While in college she worked as a telephone operator for AT&T. After completing her degree, Jan began a 30 year career with Jenks Public Schools teaching 3rd and 4th grade. Family was everything to Jan. She found great joy in being an involved mother serving as a Boy Scout and Camp Fire leader for her children's troops. She was a determined and hardworking single parent who always put her children first. She was tenacious, tough, and always achieved what she set out to do. After retiring she continued a 10 year career with Dillard's, and worked as an Avon representative, bringing joy and fellowship to her customers. Jan continued to serve the teaching community as an investment consultant with OFG Financial Services until illness prevented her from doing so. She believed strongly in family, faith and community and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be 5pm-7pm and viewing 10am-8pm Tuesday, November 10, 2020 and the Funeral Service will be 10 am, Wednesday, November 11, 2020 both at Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home, 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa The graveside service is tentatively set for 3:30PM, Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Enid Cemetery, Enid, OK.
