Obituary
Janice Marsha Manning, 77, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born July 25, 1945 to Lester and Helena (Stevenson) Wilder in New Albany, Indiana.
Janice was a member of First Baptist Church of Tulsa for many years where she volunteered at the Caring Center. She has a Master's Degree in Education and was a teacher for 32 years with Tulsa Public Schools retiring in 2003. She was selected to Who's Who Among American Teachers in 1989. She enjoyed traveling, especially cruising and enjoyed playing golf, but most of all, loved spending time with her grandchildren and the rest of her family.
She is survived by her husband Douglas Manning, Sr.; son Douglas Manning, Jr. (Jenny Lynn); daughter Jasha Lee (Jeremy); granddaughters Molly Manning, Madison Lee, Jasten Lee; great granddaughters Audriana Manning, Avery Manning, Alayah Manning: brother-in-law Danny Manning; sister-in-law Terri Manning; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Deanna Wilcox
Visitation will be on 5 - 8 PM Wednesday, Feb. 1st at Moore Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st St. Funeral service 1:00 PM Thursday, Feb. 2nd at Moore Eastlawn Chapel, 1908 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
