Janis Kay Hisey (JJ) 61 years old peacefully passed away September 7th 2019. She was the wife of Kent Eugene Hisey they shared 41 years of marriage together. Janis was born in Tulsa Oklahoma on September 1st 1958 to Bill and Janie Dickens. She was one of four sisters Teresa, Patti and Gena. Janis graduated from East Central High School in 1976. She chose to stay at home with her children and be involved in their lives in every way possible.

She was a fully devoted follower of Jesus and attended the Heart Church. Janis served along side Kent as a youth leader for over 30 years and impacted many teenagers lives. Her hobbies included traveling all over the US and the world, horseback riding, coed softball, off-roading, reading, decorating, writing, drawing and spending time with her grandkids, nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by her compassion, hospitality, creativity and genuine love for people.

She is survived by her husband Kent Hisey, Her two children and their spouses. Kevin and Meagan Hisey, Kristin and Kurt Sharp, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grand child and a very close knit extended family that loved her well.

Funeral service will be 10:30 A.M., Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Discovery Bible Fellowship Church, 11600 N. Garnett Road, Collinsville, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
