Jaunita Horton, age 89, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 14, 2020. She passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK with her daughters by her side. She was born in Stigler, OK on October 16, 1930. Her parents were Eugene Harrell and Ruby (Tyler) Harrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Kenneth Horton. They were married forty-four years. Jaunita was primarily a homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.
She is survived by two daughters, Terry (Horton) and Gene Konkler of Tulsa, OK, Tammy (Horton) and Terry Pitts of Mount Vernon, MO and her brother, Hershel Harrell of Tulsa, OK. She had four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be missed by all those that had the privilege to be a part of her life.
A celebration of Jaunita's life will be on Sunday, October 17th from 2:00 to 4:00 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel. 918-663-2233.
