Obituary
Jay Jernigan, a lifelong Tulsa resident, died Thursday at the age of 92. He was born September
25, 1922 in Tulsa, OK to Charles Jackson and Jessie Lee Jernigan. Mr. Jernigan was one of
eight remaining Tulsa area Pearl Harbor veterans. He was also a 32 degree Mason.
He is survived by his sister-in-law Charlotte, two nephews Charles and John, and five nieces
Deborah, Janelle, Christen , Pamela, and Karen. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Dorothy M Jernigan.
Jernigan and brother Lawrence Jernigan.
A remembrance service will be held Wednesday afternoon, January 28, 2015, 1:00 PM at
Moore's Eastlawn Chapel.
Viewing to be available all day Tuesday.
His interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
