Jean Conkwright passed away peacefully on December 5, 2014 at the age of 89. She was born in Tulsa, attended Will Rogers High School, and graduated from the College of Business Administration at the University of Tulsa, class of 1947. After college, Jean began her professional career with Standard Oil of Indiana/Amoco Oil Company, working in offices in Oklahoma City, Ok, Ft Worth, Tx, and Denver, Co. until her retirement in 1990. She was a member of American Business Women's Association during her professional career. Jean is a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church Of Tulsa. Since her return to Tulsa after her retirement, she enjoyed participating with a number of groups and committees in the church. Jean was a devoted Aunt to seven nieces and nephews and their extended families. She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Grace Conkwright, and her brother Frank Conkwright.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Moore's Rosewood Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 12, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church, 709 South Boston Ave, Tulsa Ok at 10:00 AM, followed by interment in Memorial Park Cemetery
