Obituary
WAMSLEY, Jean Cleveland, 86, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. Born July 20, 1930 to Joseph R. Cleveland and Grace Evelyn Harper Cleveland.
She was a member of Boston Avenue United Methodist Church, Tulsa, OK. She married Stuart M. Wamsley on February 28, 1959 in Tulsa, OK. She worked as a secretary at Texaco prior to her marriage.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Karl) Wamsley Burns, and Sheri (Marc) Wamsley Nellis; son, Cleve Wamsley; six grandchildren, Sara (Curtis) Lambert, Blake Burns, Eric Burns, Laura Burns, Nicole Nellis, DDS, and Michelle (Michael) Nellis Oxford; three great-grandchildren, Owen Lambert, Chandler Lambert, and Margot Oxford; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the TV Ministry of Boston Avenue United Methodist Church.
Viewing will be on Thursday from Noon until 8:00 PM at Moore's Southlawn Chapel with a memorial service on Friday, June 2, 2017 2:00 PM at Boston Ave. United Methodist Church-Rose Chapel, 1301 S. Boston Ave., Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233 www.moorefuneral.com
