Obituary

How do you sum up someone's beautiful life in a few paragraphs? In loving memory of Jeanette, we gather to celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Jeanette's journey began in Tulsa, where she was born to Jean and Bill, alongside her beloved older brother William, affectionately known as Willie. From her earliest days, Jeanette radiated warmth and kindness, forming deep bonds with those around her.
She had a lifelong friendship with Beverly Cargile, that blossomed from childhood and remained steadfast till their late 70s!

In her youth, Jeanette's love for horses sparked a passion that would shape her life. At 18, during a trip to Dallas with Beverly her best friend, fate intervened as she crossed paths with Jed. He became her husband and their love story unfolded, leading to a union filled with love and adventure across Tulsa, Dallas, and Las Vegas. They were an incredible team doing many successful business ventures together; flipping houses, opening nightclubs, and antique shops! They loved to travel, go out to dinner, and spend time with their daughter Cynthia.

Jeanette's dedication led her to obtain her real estate license, leaving an indelible mark on the Dallas landscape. Also, a talented hairdresser, Jeanette graced renowned hotels in Las Vegas, styling the hair of celebrities and leaving a trail of beauty in her wake. And even opening her own salon in the Tulsa area for many years.

Her greatest pride and joy was her daughter Cynthia, their bond unbreakable, their adventures endless. Together, they navigated life's twists and turns, sharing laughter, dreams, and countless memories. They were best friends, pretty much inseparable and spoke every day, and spent much time together, traveling, laughing, shopping till we drop, going vegetarian together, and working out together.
Jeanette's wisdom, compassion, and unwavering support earned her the titles of best friend, sister, problem solver, and hero in Cynthia's eyes.

Jeanette lived with grace and integrity, always choosing the path of kindness and righteousness. Her love for her mother, Jean, was profound, their bond unbreakable even beyond Jean's passing in 2005.

A lover of literature and nature, Jeanette found solace in the pages of books and the tranquility of gardening.

She spent much time with her Aunt Betty Sue and had a close bond with her cousin Debbie. They had many adventures together in Dallas and Las Vegas.

Left behind, her furry companion Allie, Jeanette found unwavering loyalty and companionship, a testament to her nurturing spirit.

Her talents extended to interior design, cooking, ice skating, and cosmetology, each endeavor infused with her unique flair and passion.

Jeanette's legacy of love will endure in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she may have departed this world, her spirit lives on in the cherished memories she leaves behind.

Rest in peace, sweet Jeanette, knowing you are loved beyond measure and missed every single day! Life will not be the same!
