Jennifer Ann Brunner of Broken Arrow passed away unexpectedly on January 17th, 2025. Jennifer was born on July 20th, 1984 to her parents Robert Wayne Brunner and Elizabeth Julia Ann Blanchard Brunner. She graduated from Indiana Southeast University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Jennifer was a lover of art, a survivor of cancer, and a beloved family member. She had a loving heart, wore the weight of the world on her shoulders, and harbored a sincere desire to save mankind.
Her life was marked with ups and downs - the highest high being the birth of her biological son, Alexander (Alex). Jennifer took care of Alex as long as her illness allowed and made all of her decisions to benefit his life, including the impossible choice for her sister to adopt him. When she made that choice she told her sister, "I just want him to be able to go to summer camp. I want him to have what I can't give him."
Jennifer is survived by her parents, Robert Brunner and Elizabeth (Julie) Brunner, her sister, Chelsea Brunner-Bourne, her biological son Alex, and her grandparents, Marlene and Donald Blanchard.
Jennifer's service to celebrate her life will be held at 10am on Friday, February 7th at St. Anne's of Broken Arrow (301 S 9th Street, Broken Arrow, OK 74012). The service is open to family and friends.
