Obituary

Jerald Earl Sutton, a retired mechanical engineer and resident of Rogers, Arkansas, passed
away on March 2, 2018 at the age of 45 while visiting his family in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Jerald is lovingly remembered by his children Wesley and Lauren, mother Earlene, his sister
Angie, his brother Gregg and sister in law Shannon, and his four nieces Amanda, Jessica,
Addison, and Presley along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his
father Phillip Reeves Sutton and his grandparents.

Jerald was born in Midwest City on June 9, 1972. He graduated from Claremore High School in
1990 and then served in the Coast Guard at Little Creek Coast Guard Station in Virginia Beach, VA. While working for Gary Sparks he enjoyed working on the expansion of Boone Pickens
Stadium then retired from Precision Engineering in Tulsa in 2014 as a mechanical engineer.

Jerald enjoyed playing his guitars, kayaking and fishing on Beaver Lake. He also liked building
things in his dad's workshop. Jerald will be remembered for his loyalty, sarcastic attitude and
sense of humor.

The visitation with family and friends will be held at MMS Payne Funeral Home, 102 W 5th St,
Claremore, OK on Wednesday, March 7 from 6 to 8 pm.

Funeral services will be held at MMS Payne Funeral Home on Thursday, March 8th at 11:00 am.

Interment will immediately follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 310 S Nome Ave, Claremore, OK

*In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to VA
Medical Centers online through the US Department of Veterans Affairs.
