Jeremy Daniel Decker, 37, of Tulsa, OK., passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, August 13, 2016. Jeremy was born in Tulsa on March 13, 1979. He attended Tulsa Public Schools and graduated from East Central High School in 1997.

Jeremy attended college at the University of Oklahoma, for one year, Hillsdale Freewill Baptist College, and Northeastern State University. Jeremy worked as a heating and air apprentice and was highly respected by his boss and coworkers.

Jeremy had a smile, laugh, and a huge heart that were unforgettable. He enjoyed playing softball, taking the boat to the lake, country western dancing, and most importantly spending his time with the love of his life, his daughter Sierra.

Jeremy received his Eagle Scout award with Troop 160 on August 1994 at the age of 15.
He played varsity football and baseball at East Central. He had a love for the St. Louis Cardinals and a bigger love for all of OU sports. While playing baseball at Hillsdale Freewill Baptist College in 1999, the team won the NCCAA National College Championship.

Jeremy is survived by his daughter Sierra Decker, and his parents, Jerry and Debbie Decker of Tulsa, OK. One brother, Trent Decker, his wife Samantha and 2 boys Colt and Jax of Tulsa, OK. Grandma Sissy of Claremore, OK. One uncle, Bob Hurry and wife -Teena of Tulsa, OK. One aunt, Ivonna Gossett, and husband Paul of Claremore, OK. and several cousins and other relatives. Jeremy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Robert and Jo-Ellen Hurry and paternal grandparent Dewey Decker and James Dick.
