Jerry Lynn Clark, age 75 passed away March 23, 2023 at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his mother Violet Wise Clark, and his father Gaylord Clark.
He is survived by his wife Jeanette Clark (Tulsa), his daughter Candace Moore (husband Evan) (Tulsa), his brother Dr. Will Clark (wife Linda) (OKC), and his sister Mary Cade (Dallas). He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Born on April 12, 1947, in Duncan, Oklahoma he was the middle of three children. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BA in Marketing and was an Alpha Tau Omega. In college he met his wife, Jeanette, during rush. He and Jeanette would be married on July 30, 1977 and celebrated 45 years of marriage last year. He worked at Merrill Lynch for 39 years before moving over to Stifel Nicolaus for the last ten. He was the first Certified Financial Planner in the state of Oklahoma. He was also an avid reader and had a library in his home with over 2,000 books. One of his passions was spending time at the Oaks Country Club where he was a member for 32 years, was an avid golfer, and served as president twice. Besides golf and reading, he was the biggest University of Oklahoma sports fan. He attended 53 straight OU v Texas games and he would attend all home football games every fall.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 28th at 2:00 P.M. at First Church Tulsa in downtown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to American Heart Association or memorial gifts can be made in support of the Jerry Clark Memorial Scholarship at the University of Oklahoma.
