Jerry Ann Jones, 81, Tulsa resident, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 in Tulsa. She was born January 19, 1933 to Josephine Brown and William Jerry Forister in Bristow, Ok. Jerry graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1950 and attended Oklahoma University for one year. She went back to school at Tulsa University where she received her Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Education. Jerry retired from Tulsa Public Schools as an eighth grade English teacher. She continued working as a tutor for Yorktown Educational Services. Jerry was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church and Bible Study Fellowship. She is survived by her husband, Russell Jones of the home, daughters, Russelle Stokes of Celina, TX and Julie Reid of OKC, son, Ryan Jones of St. Louis, MO, brother, John Forister of Owasso, OK, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held in her honor at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Eastwood Baptist Church with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
