Jerry Stephens, 88, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016. He was born December 8, 1927 in Cecil, AR to Fay and Blondine Stephens. He retired after 37 years from McDonnell Douglas and Boeing. Jerry was a member of Will Rogers United Methodist Church, Methodist Men, Green Pastures Sunday School and volunteered for Meals On Wheels. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and tomato grower. Jerry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sue Stephens; his children, Don Stephens and his wife Terri of Pittsburgh, PA, Norman Stephens and his wife Regina of Porter, OK, Kathy Simmons and her husband Shannon of Broken Arrow, OK; his grandchildren, Misti Stephens-Putnam and her husband Joshua, Mitchell Simmons, Hannah Simmons, Kristen Simmons and his great-grandchild, Rowen Stephens-Putnam. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Louise Watts and Wilma Chailer. Memorial contributions may be made to Will Rogers UMC.
