Our beloved Jerry Gordon Vanderpool, 67, passed from this life Wednesday, January 29, 2025 with his loving family by his side. Jerry was born September 4, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio. He was the middle child, the oldest son, of Doris Bennett and Toby Vanderpool. He is survived by his life partner Janice Bertrang, his older sister April Graif (Bill) and his younger brother Rusty Vanderpool (Deborah); his daughter Cassandra Joy Vanderpool Ramsey, her children and spouse; his nieces Heather Graif, Ashleigh Graif, Courtney Vanderpool; his nephews Rusty Vanderpool and Dustin Vanderpool, great nephew Sterling Vanderpool and great niece Olivia Vanderpool. He was preceded in death by his mother Doris Bennett and father Toby Vanderpool.

Jerry retired due to disability in 1995 after working in several different professions. He worked many years at Allied Signal as a Coater Operator then transitioned to working with adults with disabilities at two different agencies. He was known for his passion for candy, knick-knacks, his love of Kentucky and music. Jerry enjoyed spending time with family. All of his nieces and nephews have fond memories of their Uncle Jerry treating them to pop, candy and great times. Jerry was raised in the Christian faith attending church with his family.
