Jerry Wayne Forbes, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was called up to join past family and friends on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, at the age of 72 years.
Jerry was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on March 12, 1946. Growing up in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, he graduated in 1965 at Pawhuska High School, attended college at Northeastern State College of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, where he met Theresa Scott of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Finishing his bachelor's in accounting at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

He knew he found the one when he met Theresa Scott, and they married on March 27, 1971, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jerry and Theresa were blessed when they had their daughter Diana on September 19, 1975. They went on many happy trips to distant places like Orlando, Yellowstone, Branson, and Mount Rushmore.

Jerry loved going fishing, playing golf, and traveling. He attempted to curb the market on fishing poles and golf balls. He enjoyed time golfing with his friends and going fishing with his grandson, Brady Caudle.

Jerry belonged to the Singles over 55, where he was president of the group for two years, spending many Wednesday afternoons playing cards at the Chinese buffet.
Jerry also belonged to the elite ranks of a multi-gallon blood donor for the American Red Cross.

Jerry leaves to mourn his loss: his brother, Marvin Forbes and family of Nelagony, Oklahoma. Daughter, Diana Caudle, her husband, Jonathan Caudle, and their son Brady Caudle. Sister-in-law Cynthia Jameson, her husband Blake Jameson, and many cousins, nephews, and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father John Henry, wife Theresa, and mother June.

Visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018, at 2:00 pm, at Moore's Funeral Home-Southlawn Chapel in Tulsa, (9350 E 51st St) Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with refreshments after at the Family Center located at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
