Jerry Elmo Walker Brown was born to J. T. and Jewel on August 16, 1942 in Chouteau, Ok in a tent by a midwife and his aunt Bea Brown. The family lived in various places in Oklahoma but in 1952 moved to Borger, TX. They stayed there until March 1954. On the bus ride back to Oklahoma Jerry contracted polio, which would affect him all his life. He lived with his mother Jewel until her passing. In 2003 Jerry moved to Oilton to live with his younger brother Tommy and his wife Jane. There he became a member of Oilton First Baptist Church and made many friends. He then moved to Baptist Village in Cleveland, OK with his sister in law as his caregiver. Jerry passed away there on June 12, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Tommy Brown; and sisters: Edith Sue Brown and Emma Jean McComb.
Jerry is survived by his sister: Marcy Massey; sister in law: Jane Brown; niece: JJ Carter; nephew: Tommy Brown II; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. June 22 at Moore's Memory Chapel 1403 S. Peoria Ave., Tulsa, OK. Interment: Private Family.
