Jessie Rowe (Toby) Lamon born March 2, 1930 in Jasper, AL. He passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edmon and Velma Lamon; stepmother, Claudine Lamon; son, Toby Lee Lamon. Survived by his wife, Pat of the home; daughters, Linda Jones and Cindie Lamon; sister, Brenda Davis; brothers, Edward Lamon and wife, Ann, and Jim Lamon and wife, Deb; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jessie Rowe (Toby) Lamon was a wonderful husband, son, brother, father, and grandfather. He was outgoing, spontaneous, charming, generous, and loving. He had an incredible singing voice, loved old-time gospel music, fishing, and travel. He loved to work and had several jobs after retirement from American Airlines. He had an unforgettable sense of humor and could make even the most uncomfortable situations hysterical. This gift of laughter and humility flows throughout his family and we treasure it so. We will miss you. Forever in our hearts and in our laughter had an incredible singing voice, loved old-time gospel music, fishing, and travel. He loved to work and had several jobs after retirement from American Airlines.
