James Leamon Kelley, or "Jim," as he was known to all, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020. He was born Saturday, October 22, 1921, in Stonewall, OK, to Claude and Manilla Kelley. He was retired from American Airlines as manager of power plant overhaul. Jim attended St. Patrick's Episcopal Church of Broken Arrow, was a member of Tulsa County Sheriff's Posse, American Legion Post 1, V.F.W., Baseball Commissioner of Northeast Tulsa Youth Baseball, Sand Springs Alumni Association, American Airlines Administrator Association, and an avid supporter of Sand Springs Widow's Colony. Jim enjoyed his family and grandchildren, the monthly American Airlines Breakfast Club, bowling, helping others, gardening, fishing and golfing. He is survived by his wife, of 67 years, Joan Kelley; his children, James Kelley and wife, Elaine of Allen, TX, Kathy Daily and husband, Lawton "Ken" of Tulsa, Craig Kelley and wife, Kelli of Tulsa; twelve grandchildren, Erin Hart and husband, Brandon, Clark Daily and wife, Breah, Cory Kelley, Theodore Kelley, Brandon Fryhover, Jordan Fryhover, James Kelley, Fiona Kelley and husband, Chase, Clayton Daily and wife, Lauren (Laurie), Lindsey Dukes and husband, Travis, Lacey Fryhover and fiancee, Jake Morgan, and Mayson Fryhover; five great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Hart, Emily Hart, Evelyn Daily, Lainey Morgan and baby-to-be, Laken Dukes; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leslie Kelley, and John Kelley; sisters, Claudine McKinsey and Elizabeth Caldwell.
