JIMMIE DARRELL DAVIS 69, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 in
Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Jimmie was born to Thomas E. Davis, Sr. and Opal (Matthews) Davis on
August 1, 1944 in Blackgum, Oklahoma.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; his wife, Esther Davis; brothers,
Vernon Davis and Harold Davis; sisters, Ruth Flangan; Neomi Davis and
Mona Ritter and nephew, Davy Davis.
Jimmie is survived by his brother, Thomas E. Davis, Jr., and his wife,
Dorothy of Vian, Oklahoma; his sister, Glenda (Davis) Summerlin of Broken
Arrow, Oklahoma.
He served in the United States Air Force from June 21, 1962 to June 19,
1970. He lived in Checotah, Oklahoma. He worked as a maintenance man for
Sequoyah County in Oklahoma.
Graveside Service: 11:00 a. m., Friday, May 9, 2014 at Fort Gibson National
Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma with Chaplain James Durham officiating.
