Loved by all, Jimmie L. Dozier was born June 25, 1927 in Tahlequah, OK and died peacefully in the evening of December 8, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. She was 90 years old. She is survived by her brother Marion of Broken Arrow, sister Emma of Bixby, daughter Janis of Salem, OR and son Martin of Midland, TX. She is also survived by five (Andrew, Matthew, Jeremy, Whitney, and Cameron) grandchildren and two (Xavier and Emily) great grandchildren. Jimmie is preceded in death by her husband (Robert), father (Earl) and mother (Savola).

A devoted teacher she retired in 1988 from Tulsa Public Schools after teaching for over 4 decades in Denver, Bartlesville and Tulsa. She was an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader, bridge player, and she also loved knitting, square dancing with Bob and watching sports (especially OKC Thunder).
