Jimmie N. Majors, 42, of Tulsa, OK, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 5, 1977, at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK. He was born Friday, June 29, 1934, in Searcy, AR, to Henry Langford Majors and Cloteine Sue (Ragsdale) Majors. Jimmie was baptized in Casa View Christian Church, in 1960. He moved to Tulsa from Dallas, TX, in 1970, and joined East Tulsa Christian Church, in 1975. Johnny was married to the love of his life, Nelda (Williams) Majors for 21 years. He was proud to have served as a Private First Class in the United States Army. Johnny was an engineer at Carnation Co., since 1959. He is survived by his wife, Nelda, of the home; 2 sons, David and Steven Majors; sister, Katie Hill of Longview, TX; brother, Virgil Lee Majors of Longview, TX; nephew, Danny Majors of Longview, TX; and a lifetime of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; and infant sister, Nannie Lou Majors. Johnny will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
